Healesville NIte Chicks meet on the first Wednesday of each month. We have just had our April meeting and there are many events to reflect on and plan ahead for.
We've recently had fun at the Healesville Market and Bunnings sausage sizzle, where funds were raised for community and CWA state and global projects. Both these events were supported by our NIte Chicks and their partners [who often get roped in for support!].
Our calendar is starting to fill for upcoming events. The April 29th, "Women Walk the World" ACCW event is something to look forward to - this Sunday social event, held at Maroondah Dam from 11:30am onwards, coincides with Women walking events around the globe. Many countries are hosting a walk on at 2:00pm... please feel free to join us for the walk and an earlier BBQ.
Other social events in the pipeline include a Cambodian dinner, a weekend away and the many CWA group and state events.
Congratulations to our branch who won the Tea for Two dinner setting with their theme of Cambodia - rich and poor!
Our May meeting is the first Wednesday in May - we are NIte Chicks so our meetings start at 7:00pm and finish with conviviality over supper.

ReplyDeleteMonbulk Branch are holding their Annual Fashion Parade at the Yarra Ranges Estate on Tuesday, 16th October 2012 at 10.30am.
A 2 course lunch with tea and coffee will be served. Tickets are $25.00. To book ring Heather on 97567229. Please state when booking any special dietary requirements.
